Fnatic, a professional League of Legends team, has announced the signing of Korean support player Jun for the upcoming 2024 season. Jun will be replacing Trymbi, a Polish player, in the starting lineup.
Jun, whose real name is Yoon Se-jun, has reached a verbal agreement with Fnatic in the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC). The decision to bring in Jun was made after considering several other support players during the off-season.
This signing marks the second Korean player to join the European League this off-season, with IgNar also reportedly joining XL Esports. As a result, many domestic talents are left without potential spots on LEC teams.
Jun, born in 2000, began his professional career on the DRX Academy team. He later joined KDF and played on the starting roster until being moved to a substitute position. Despite the team's less-than-ideal results, Jun is known for his mechanical skills.
With the addition of Jun, Fnatic will have a full Korean bot lane, as ADC Noah is also on the roster. The rest of the lineup for the 2024 season is yet to be confirmed.
